The world is building something we have never seen before: the clean power grid of tomorrow.  It will involve multiple new technologies and players, unprecedented amounts of data, and incredible complexity.  My job is to make it comprehensible, to help you know what’s happening, why it's taking place, and how to respond.

Texas is the fastest growing renewables market in the U.S. If it were its own country, it would be the third largest renewable energy economy.

20% is the approximate average annual decline in the cost of batteries and solar panels with every doubling of global output volumes. This is a function of improving technologies and supply chains becoming more efficient.

Electric school buses represent an enormous amount of potential energy storage on wheels that can be fed back to the grid. In fact, 74 electric buses in the Oakland, CA School District will soon store and deliver 2,100 MWh back to the grid annually – enough energy to power almost 200 homes for an entire year.
